Cleaning A Freestanding Bathtub Can Be Quite A Hassle

Freestanding designs may be on trend for bathtubs, but like vessel sinks, freestanding tubs create more areas in the bathroom to clean. Water and dirt can get stuck between the floor and the bottom of the tub, and a more decorative freestanding tub with claw feet is just another addition to the bathroom chores.

"Freestanding tubs can be more difficult to clean because water can run off the narrow rim between the tub and the wall, making cleaning difficult," says Kaitlyn Parker of Parker Studio.
